The Reserve of Luxury
Just ten minutes from the beautiful village of Ramatuelle, and a 15-minute drive from Saint Tropez, this indulgent retreat is perfectly placed for those looking for a chic retreat on the Côte d'Azur.
Arriving at the hotel I felt instantly relaxed with the simple yet refined décor creating a space of calm, a ‘home from home’.
I was lucky enough to be staying in one of the 14 villas which range in size from 3 to 6 bedrooms. Each property is stunning, with large spacious rooms and Mediterranean décor with modern touches throughout. Each villa faces the sea and has a private heated swimming pool set in a manicured garden and one of the highlights for me was waking up to watch the sunrise from the spacious terrace followed by an invigorating dip in the private pool.
The spa was another of my many Ramatuelle highlights; being light and bright with 11 treatment rooms boasting views out towards the sea. You can choose from a programme tailored to your needs (including meals, activities and treatments) or just indulge with a massage.
Sporting activities are available and I got the chance to enjoy a Nordic walk which is part of the ‘bootcamp’ programme. The guided walk along the coastal footpaths was the perfect way to experience the area and take in the incredible views and nature which surround the hotel. I couldn’t recommend this enough.
Dining at the hotel was fantastic, with one main restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner which transforms from its relaxing breakfast/lunch environment to an elegant, sophisticated evening venue.
This hotel really is the perfect place to unwind. Whether for a relaxing long weekend; a spa escape in a villa with space for friends and family; or a detox break to get you started on a path to a healthier new you. As I discovered, it was also a great base to dip in and out of Saint Tropez without staying in the hustle and bustle of the marina town.
All in all, La Reserve Ramatuelle ticks a lot of boxes for your luxury South of France holiday. I hope it’s not too long until my next visit!
